This offseason has been amazing physically. My muscle-mind connection is stronger than ever, 98% of my workouts have been killer, and my strength has increased within lacking body parts. With that said, this offseason has been not so amazing on me mentally. Days I didn’t want to look at myself in the mirror because the veins, separations, and striations I was once able to see were now gone. Saying no to photoshoots, not posting enough, etc. things I wasn’t proud of but couldn’t because I am too harsh on myself. Even this picture I kind of cringe at but posting because it’s real. I remind myself that nothing is permanent. Weight, stress, sadness, deadlines, due dates, relationships, jobs. But what is permanent is how you talk to yourself and how you perceive yourself to be. What goes on inside your head should be a place of peace. Im kinda just writing while I’m thinking so I apologize if this post is all over the place but I just want to be real with you guys. What I’m bringing this summer is my best physically AND MENTALLY. For myself, my loved ones, and for all of you. At the end of the day, you guys motivate me just as much as I may motivate you.
