I think it’s been close to two years now that I’ve been saying I wanted to compete on stage. I set out a goal for myself to do so, and last week, today, I did just that. I wanted to keep it as discreet as possible because, frankly, I was doing this for me and I didn’t want to allow anyone else to influence the process. Placement was of no concern for me as this was more of a mental challenge I had placed for myself. I didn’t want the fear of stage lights, an audience, or stumbling in heels deter me from experiencing something I could potentially fall in love with. Although, I was not as conditioned as I would’ve liked I am more than happy with how I looked/look. It’s the leanest I’ve ever been and to say that is a trophy in and of its self. I couldn’t have any more respect for those that compete. It’s incredible what people are capable of achieving. With the help of many amazing and talented people by my side I can finally say I did it. I’ll never say never, and stepping on stage again is a strong possibility (which all of you will hopefully be along for the ride for)❤️.
